CHILDREN’S DIVISION
A child may enter any class for which they are eligible, e.g. an 8 year old may enter the

Minor, Junior or Teen class. However, children are limited to winning 3 gold awards in any one class. Once 3 gold awards have been achieved in one class, the child must then move up to the next level if they wish to continue competing. Any child winning 3 gold awards in the Teens class may then enter the Young Adults class or the Novice division at adult level. All groups are up to and including age shown at the date of the competition.

 CD A - Tots up to age 7 years – Bumble Bee

An item of the competitors choice with the theme of “Bumble Bee(s)” using any edible medium.

CD B - Minor up to age 9 years – 3 Cupcakes - Afternoon Tea

Three cupcakes decorated with the theme “Afternoon Tea”. Cakes may be purchased or baked and displayed on a (18cm) board.

CD C - Junior up to age 12 years – America

A cake or dummy coated in buttercream, royal icing or sugarpaste decorated with the theme of “America”. No artificial decoration allowed.

CD D – Teens up to age 16 years - Pastillage Card – 16th Birthday

A pastillage card decorated with the theme “16th Birthday”. All decorations to be made from any edible medium, although stamens, thread, wire and floristry tape may be used. Presentation is the competitor’s choice.
