NOVICE DIVISION 
This division is open to BSG members only.
A novice is a beginner or someone new to a particular skill within the last 2 years and who has not won a Gold award in any one class at any BSG Competition. (Children’s Division excepted.) e.g. if any award for the novice miniature has been won, a competitor may not enter novice miniature again BUT can enter another class within the Novice Division.

Cygnets are eligible to enter the Novice Division. Entry fee applicable.

ND A - Two Tiered Wedding Cake – A Traditional Wedding Cake From Anywhere In The World

A two tiered cake or dummy coated in any edible medium with the theme of “A Traditional Wedding Cake From Anywhere In The World”. All decorations to be made from any edible medium, although stamens, thread, wire and floristry tape may be used. 

ND D -Sculpted Rice Krispies Model – My Favourite....

A model sculpted from rice krispies to form the base shape. Rice krispies to be covered and decorated with any edible medium. No artificial decoration allowed. Model may be cut to ensure it complies with the schedule. Ribbon may only be used on the edge of the display board. Exhibit to fit within a 10inch(25cm) square.
