This division was open to the general public as well as British Sugarcraft Guild members of all levels.
Judging is in line with the current BSG guidelines.
PD A - Model – Guess the Decade
A 3D model with the theme “Guess the Decade”. The exhibit may be made in any edible medium. Moulds, internal edible supports and edible food colouring may be used. Varnish, gel, glaze or whitener allowed in moderation. No artificial decoration.

PD B – Floral Corsage
A corsage for a “Summer Prom” with a minimum of one main flower. Filler flowers and/or foliage can be included. Any edible medium can be used. Only stamens, wire, floristry tape, thread allowed. Ribbon and beads may be used in moderation.

PD D - Charity Cake
A cake or dummy coated in royal icing or sugarpaste to represent a registered charity. The charity must be clearly identifiable and include a short description about your charity and its objectives.
Visitors made a donation to a collection tin and voted for their favourite cake. £155.42 was donated to Shooting Star Children's Hospice.

PD C - Creative Sugarcraft Design
An item of your choice made in any edible medium, the final design inspired by this shape. All decorations to be made from any edible medium, although stamens, thread, wire, floristry tape and non edible supports may be used. No artificial decoration allowed. You must show the development of your design on an A3 sheet of paper (or two A4 pages).
