Cygnet News

Welcome to the Cygnets news.

We currently have 7 branches in region 8 that are running Cygnet groups.

To find out if there is one in your area go to the click Cygnet Groups below or

Click Cygnet Galleries to see some of the items you could be making at a Cygnet Group.

Unfortunately not all of our branches have groups but many of our Adult branches will allow children at their meetings under the supervision of an adult and by arrangement.

To find out more check the Branches page.

What’s happening: The Region 8 SE Cakes & Sugarcraft Exhibition is taking place on the 18th May 2019 at the Brighton University and there are lots of things that Cygnets and Children can get involved and take part in.

The Cygnet Group project. This is a display table of Cygnets work this exhibitions the theme is “Bags, Hats & Shoes”. Groups start work on them in around January. To take part you need to be a member of a group.

If you are not a member of a branch you can enter the general competition. There are a range of themes that are open to all children both as guild and non guild members. Check the competition schedule under the exhibition pages. (There are rules to comply with but advice and help are always on hand).

There are several children’s have a go sessions during the day at the exhibition.
